II. Terms of Service
Service Agreement
By engaging digitalbackendlab for web development, consulting, or related services, you enter into a service agreement governed by these Terms. All projects commence only upon written confirmation and receipt of any applicable deposit.
Scope & Deliverables
Project scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are defined in individual project proposals or statements of work. Any modifications to scope must be agreed in writing and may affect pricing and deadlines.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all custom code, designs, and deliverables created specifically for the client are transferred to the client's ownership. digitalbackendlab retains the right to use general methodologies, frameworks, and non-proprietary tools developed during the engagement.
Limitation of Liability
digitalbackendlab's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project in question. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project with 14 days' written notice. Work completed and delivered up to the point of termination remains billable. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

IV. Refund Policy
General Policy
Due to the custom nature of web development services, all fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. However, we are committed to client satisfaction and handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Eligible Refund Scenarios
- Project cancelled before any work has begun — full refund of any deposits paid.
- Significant deviation from the agreed project scope without client approval — partial refund for undelivered work.
- Failure to meet agreed-upon acceptance criteria after reasonable remediation attempts.
Refund Process
Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the relevant invoice date. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfer fees, if applicable, are deducted from the refund amount.
Exclusions
Refunds are not available for completed and delivered work, hosting fees, third-party license costs, or project delays caused by client-side factors including delayed feedback, missed deadlines, or scope changes.
